CITY – LET US DESIGN HOW WE WANT TO LIVE: A Guided Walk

How do vacancy, defensive architecture and dementia-friendly design shape our cities? These questions will be explored in a guided walk through Frankfurt, offering new perspectives and practical insights into urban design.

On Saturday, 30 November 2024, the GDG, in collaboration with World Design Capital Frankfurt RheinMain 2026, invites participants to explore key urban design themes together.

The walk will include stops at a vacant department store floor, public spaces in the city centre and the Dare to Design exhibition at the Museum Angewandte Kunst. It will be led by German Design Graduates 2024 Luise Kempf and Irini Schwab, together with Dr.-Ing. Valerie Rehle, interior architect and dementia researcher.
